I'm still on hiatus, working on my vision board for 2019 and planning how I am going to accomplish my BHAG in 11 months time. Honestly, it is the biggest, hairiest and most audacious goal I've ever set, so I'm taking the entire month to set myself up for success. I hope this post from the Legacy Series will encourage and inspire you to take some time to dream, plan and hope in the power of intention and all it holds for a life lived well. Be sure to share your posts in the link-up and encourage one another also. I'll be back next week with a creative, digital vision board idea, a new series, and some special giveaways as we begin a brand new year of community and friendship at Fresh Market Friday! We all have a vision of what we want our life to be. At Continue Reading
Sweet Reminders For a Life Lived Well
All of life deserves to be remembered. It's in the remembering that we find meaning and purpose for where we've been and where we're going. Where perspective and courage become companions for the days ahead. Where hope and grace grow through the promise of a better tomorrow. Put simply, hopefulness is the anticipation of a greater tomorrow. One of the best ways to Continue Reading

But regardless of where we all fall on the spectrum, our life speaks volumes of how we have lived from here to there. It's been almost 20 years since I wrote my legacy mission statement. I was struggling to overcome a past that was threatening to swallow me whole and steal any hope of a healthy future. I knew I wanted a different life for my children than I had but I didn't know how to get there. I knew I didn't want to be a mother who repeated the pain I bore as a child, but I couldn't fully grasp what that place looked like and what the journey would entail. I knew in 20 years I didn't want the be the same person I was then. The one thing that was clear Continue Reading
