There’s something to be said for new beginnings and beginning again. I’ve had my share of both as I’m sure you have also. Some of new beginnings may not be exactly what we want or feel that we needs, but even this can be fuel enough to put things in motion. Likewise, when beginning again and again doesn't work, sometimes it's time to close the door and embrace a fresh, new beginning. Beginnings can be a bit scary, rejuvenating and even bittersweet. 3 Questions to Get Back to Your Happy Place
I'm back from China, and #SummerReset is back on track with 3 happy place questions I think are vital for discarding the unnecessary baggage from the past seasons and resetting our frame of mind and perspective. When I think of my happy place, several things come to mind...family gatherings, music, books and good conversation. I feel most at home with a full house, plenty of good food and lots of chatter. Hope Always Emerges Beyond the Storm
No matter how overwhelming the storm, there is always HOPE. This is the message I have repeatedly tucked in my heart this week, again and again. Sometimes our storms put our someday's on hold. In this case, I've had to put my September Somedays Series on hold in order to prepare my family and my home for hurricane Irma. I wrote this post a year ago, in the midst of Hurricane Matthew, and once again, I find myself directly in the path of a storm powerful enough to destroy in ways I cannot wrap my head around.
