Do you know what you want? When was the last time you asked yourself this question? It's not always easy to figure out what we want. Sometimes it's hard coming up with something as simple as where we want to eat. With our busy lives, we often get used to adapting to what everyone else wants and we lose sight of what lights up our hearts. The quality of our life depends on the quality of our questions. If you're wondering what questions have to do with the quality of your life, you're not alone. A few years ago I wondered the same thing. As a lifelong learner, I'm always asking questions and looking for answers. If there's something I don't know, I'll look and ask until I find the answer. Prepare Your Child for a Blessing with Big Picture Thinking
When it comes to big-picture thinking, it seems there are countless more parenting books and resources promoting the concept of living in the moment. The Simple Life Series – 6 Weeks to More Joy, Freedom and Balance
Living a simple life isn't as much about how as it is about why. We can spend time repeatedly uncluttering our spaces, clearing away excess and collecting the next streamlined agenda to help us simplify time, money and things, but if we don't take time to deal with why we're longing for a simple life and what's stopping us, we most likely will find ourselves circling back through the same cycle over and over again. Personally, I think it takes a bit of a brave heart to dive into 'why' because in asking, we are admitting that something isn't working for us. We're opening ourselves up to discovering what's hindering us from getting there. And we're showing a willingness to ask ourselves some deeper, harder questions. The kind of questions that have the power to get us unstuck and Continue Reading
