Imposter! The label rang loud and clear through my brain, and in its heels, what quickly followed were declarations that sent my spirit spiraling.
I shouldn’t be here.
I’m not qualified.
I don’t deserve this.
They are going to find me out.
It’s going to all go south.
I’m an imposter!
For several months, the sabotaging missiles bombarded my thoughts and emotions faster than the saner side of my mind could process.
Have you ever felt like an imposter?
Many of us have at one time or another. And the thoughts that contribute are very real and equally destructive.
We are often our greatest roadblock to walking in the freedom of chosen and worthy! Share on XJoin me over at Searching for Moments where I share my story of battling self-imposed labels and breaking free to realize the joy of being chosen and worthy!
Because we can all stand tall and move forward in whatever path God calls us, knowing He has and is ordering our steps and making a way for the work He began in us. He’s using every little piece of our life’s puzzle because we’ve been chosen and declared worthy in Him and for Him.
For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession. Deut. 7:6

Sharing our #blogs on #FreshMarketFriday #linkup! Today: Feeling Like an Imposter Share on X♥ As you read this post, I’m off the grid, speaking to a group of women at a retreat. So instead of cancelling Fresh Market Friday, I decided to open it up a day early in conjunction with guest posting on Moments of Hope. So be sure to add your fresh post below, enjoy a little bit of fresh community and I’ll check in with you when I get back in town on Monday!
This Week’s Featured Fresh Find…
If you’re new to Fresh Market Friday, you can find more about the community HERE.
Each week, it’s my pleasure to select one writer from the link-up to showcase on my blog for the entire week. I’m excited to announce this week’s Featured Fresh Find is Alisha Blue over at Becomeless.net
I love the intention behind Alisha’s post entitled, “Dear Future Husband: I’m Not Waiting on You.” And in case you initially think she is talking about purity, she is not. What she is promoting is the truth that God has a plan for each of us, regardless of our marital status, and waiting on stepping into those plans until we meet that future husband or wife isn’t really embracing all that God has for us in the life we’re living today.
Won’t you please visit Alisha’s and share some Fresh Market Friday encouragement…because we all need a little encouragement!
