I am a firm believer that summer should never pass without taking an adventure and doing something brave. Why? Because it just feels good! It's empowering, refreshing and totally uplifting...even in the midst of uncomfortable, intimidating and unnerving. We are capable of so much more than we think we are, and there is an adventure out there for every level of brave. Sometimes the first adventure is reminding ourselves of where we've been. Create Your Legacy Mission Statement
Every life makes a statement. And every life has a mission. For some it's simply to survive, and for others it's to thrive. But regardless of where we all fall on the spectrum, our life speaks volumes of how we have lived from here to there. It's been almost 20 years since I wrote my legacy mission statement. I was struggling to overcome a past that was threatening to swallow me whole and steal any hope of a healthy future. I knew I wanted a different life for my children than I had but I didn't know how to get there. Finding Forever Through the “I Do”
Sometimes forever seems like yesterday. It’s been 30 years since he gave me the first piece of the puzzle that would change our entire life. One white cardboard piece followed by 6 additional. And with each assembled piece on that cold and snowy Valentine’s evening, the anticipation and gravity of what these 7 perfect pieces represented came together.
