Summer brings with it an invitation to be refreshed!

By the time June rolls around, my mind, body and soul are feeling the strain of a full and busy schedule. When I look through my packed agenda, my soul immediately yearns for the slow ease of reclaiming and nourishing myself from the inside out.

As women, we know very well how to burn the candle at both ends. We juggle, multi-task and make it look easy, but all of this energy spent takes a toll. Our feminine essence longs to transition from so much doing into rejuvenated being. Where time passing isn’t marked with ticking but with full, expansive breath and slow, cleansing exhales, as our soul begins to come alive again.

We may be comfortable and capable in the realm of doing, but we thrive in the realm of being.

~curling up in a chunky chair with a cup of tea and a good book

~moving and stretching our body

~feeling the warmth of our own breath as it moves through our body

~anticipating and feeling our rich emotions of love and friendship

~long walks, fresh foods, cool, soft sheets

~luxuriating in the summer breeze of sunset

~dancing and laughing and teasing our senses with the gifts of summer
